Well, it's a valid concern especially for those who switch cases often and still OCD about phone condition.

No need to retrieve new eSIM.

1. Remove eSIM from previous device
2. Scan QR code on that eSIM that you have used initially to setup the number

I have done this 2x now and confirmed that it is working.

Wa that qrcode is 1 year ago to setup my 16pm leh. Must find first

Basically: I need to wait for 12 hour before setting up the digital token to verify the card.

Yes, and have to call Citi to ask them to enable adding my credit card to Apple Wallet.

This is quite stupid for Citibank, DBS just need to enable the contactless toggle in their app and add card within 10min. No need to even call.
