Very gd. He is toking like his boss already
Strawman and gaslight standard MIW playbook strategy! Unlike other countries where public transport is not main mode of transportation only around 10% of the populace own a car regardless of what backside MP said. Over in Japan where metro is main mode of transportation, if the train is late or fast 10 sec they will apologize and issue a certificate.

Also if I own such a sh1tty phone or car I would set it on fire and short the company stock!

Hahaha I wish. They probably think their design so kilat. Maintenance is always the no.1 item skimped on.
The vast increase in our population is probably neglected as a factor for them to consider. Our public infrastructures not designed to handle such a large population.

Ya. Obviously there is some really seriously issue. For major electrical non-mechanical component to fail, is some serious issue.
They are just trying to plaster over the cracks without solving the underlying issues

If there are so many "isolated" incidents happening in such a short period of time, then it's systematic liao

Either something very wrong with their maintenance or the quality of their infrastructure

Simple analogy - if I have different light bulbs blowing up in my house over the past month, are these isolated events or a sign that something is systematically at fault here

I read in another reporr that this Siow said
""zero disruptions” is an unrealistic expectation."

Can I tell my boss / ceo, "zero mistake is an unrealistic expectation"? And my boss / ceo wont scold me or marked me?

Or, can the ministries or state board tell AGC that zero audit issue is an unrealistic expectation?

Take so much salary, talk without using much sense.

Dont think MOT comms team will put this in:

"... just like cars break down, and phones and computers require restarting now and then, trains, too, will break down."

Feel weird to have this in the speech that can provoke public displease.
They are just telling you that they dun give a damn about it.
Dun make so much noise about it.
Task force already set up liao.
Case closed.
