TikTok guardianlaw - It is an offence to pass a parcel from paid to unpaid areas in an mrt station (if it is for trade). You can be fined up to $2k.

Minister Jeffery needs to enforce this law. A lot of people breaking the law at the MRT daily. Why so much lawlessness at the MRT?? Really no law no king.
Yes
Important thing like ensure no MRT break downs wouldn't or couldn't do
BS things like this should do

Might as well have a super filthy MRT toilet with faeces on floor
But the sign saying Male andFemale in front is brand new and changed every 3 months

What sort of question is this

The point is you cannot pass the item if you take MRT and don't exit MRT
That means pass whilst you are IN the station

Nothing to stop you from passing it to your customer when BOTH are inside the station and you can make a video mocking MRT staff
Of course check if filming is allowed
It was based on comment about biz is allowed that will take up space and crowd.
Singpost signed a MOU so there was a special arrangement for this

Up to two employees will make the collection each day, riding in MRT cabins on the East-West Line between the off-peak hours of 11am and 2pm, said SingPost and SMRT’s business arm, Stellar Lifestyle, in a news release on Monday.

The trial is part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two companies and aims to study the operational cost efficiencies and carbon emission savings in utilising MRT trains to collect postal items

Can SMRT explain there is such a law/regulation for this?

Otherwise next time come out with some regulations like left foot must cross the gantry first otherwise fine $500, we also must accept?

Missed a word. I want to ask WHY got this law
Oh....
They can't answer cos I bet its a whole series of rules

I also bet its copied from somewhere
So they can only give generic reasons like for smooth amiable travel we don't allow eating on Trains, loud music etc

This and the rule against using their power point sounds good in principle but more you delve into it, the more problem you foresee
Of course SMRT and civil service under PAP isn't capable or competent

Passing a parcel or a bag over the barrier is bypassing any bag check protocol

Imagine not going through the bag check. Could be something deadly, ok?

Then shld be worded as such - ie no parcels that are unchecked can be passed across
