TikTok guardianlaw - It is an offence to pass a parcel from paid to unpaid areas in an mrt station (if it is for trade). You can be fined up to $2k.

If no see cash exchange hands, they also can’t tell if friends gifting or not ma. Nowadays everyone mostly cashless transfer. Usually for small value items, just paynow before reaching, then just take and go.
How will u dare to paynow before even meeting the person? What if he never appear?

will.purposely put barriers so you cannot reach each other without exiting
Actually i seen before a station where there is a distance between after passing gantry and outside the gantry

You can still talk to person whilst standing there and easily throw the bag & money off
Make it more fun really

Passing a parcel or a bag over the barrier is bypassing any bag check protocol

Imagine not going through the bag check. Could be something deadly, ok?

What kind of unsafe country are we living in?

And it's so unsafe that passing item across cannot, but tap your card and go in/out first, then can pass item freely. Huh??
