nowadays, most flagships all uses amoled. Rarely see IPS LCD, unless you get mid-end phones, from the likes of china brand phones.

no sure whether the device can be traded when it was repaired by unauthorised repair shop.
moi repair it tru Samsung Shop...

free for screen replacement, only need pay labor fee of $55 at samsung shop

This one like urban legend. got people say free, got people say need to pay.

It's the Samsung technician who determine it.

But if ur phone is not from third party (big 3 telco should be safe), never been serviced by ah being shop, no corrosion or water dmg, then very high chance free

But before u send in phone to Samsung, the staff will advise whether free screen or not with conditions above attached

Only issue is u need factory reset phone for Samsung so need backup a lot of settings n mfa, smart switch is actually not that smart
