Having a good display is important, for your mind. It doesn't matter a bit if you intend to sell it off one yr later for 18PM. But EOD every single day when you look at the display, your mind will tell you its a LG, its a GVC.. it's not the best screen.

I was surprised how deep this rabbit hole went, and it is crazy on sites like macrumors where there are users exchanging phones close to 10 times just to get a "perfect" screen

Well, it's perfectionism mindset luh. Nothing wrong with it and not everyone agrees with it. Everywhere will have such perfectionist. Some play game must achieve 100% completion. Cannot even miss a single stage or item.

I'm sure some of us here are like that also but to what extent only. For me, exchanging phone for the top grade display panel is abit over the top hahaha

What I cannot stand is a dirty/greasy phone so every few days I will clean it thoroughly. Screen protector I also cannot stand it if it's a bit crooked. I will remove and repaste until it's perfectly aligned. I think I ever spent like 30mins doing it cos the dust keep getting in hahaha

Nowadays no such problem already with perfect alignment tray and tools for sp application.

with the back display I got no privacy I purposely put the phone face down because of privacy now face up what is the purpose and fixing that small screen not cheap

Picked up my 17 Pro and using it for 1 and 1/2 day alongside my my 16 PM & 17 PM. The feel on hand and 1 hand wielding really superb, battery seems to be better than my 16PM, so far. Only complain is the lack of AR and non-full coverage of the ezfit pro spigen tempered glass.

Typing this on the 17 Pro and surfing HWZ on my top grade Samsung G9N panel
