Have to say after testing for a few days.. on Xiaomi hyperos 3 android 16.. their software still roughly the same after so many years.. lagging behind even honors magicos... (Previously used china/global rom miui and global rom hyperos OG)... I guess software department if don't put any effort really won't see any changes even after so many years..

Well, Lei Jun said that their software department has been working hard added with R&D investments increasing, but yet we still don't see any improvements with their OS.

It just means they need to hire the right person to do it... Honor was super awful but I can tell they are trying.. year on year improvements..

Yup, they really need to shake up their OS department.
HyperOS isn't bad but need to fix the pain points, rollout alignments etc.

I feel among flagship quite bad leh.. maybe if I have a poco I won't complain much... But flagship series lose out to a great extent .. my favourite UI in terms of ranking (best to worst) currently is vivo originos, Samsung one UI, oxygenOS, colorOS, vivo fun touchOS, honor magicOS, Nubia UI, hyperOS...
