Google promised tons but anywhere else apart from US, they fail to deliver.

Is it? Applicable for most apps too? What I recall, XM most apps usable as compared to others.

Yup.. used to be only china social media apps.. now vivo and oppo if not wrong can dual app others too..

Base model not much upgrades thus got left behind.. when I was at the shop mostly were buying the pro and pro max models.. I rarely see ppl bought the base models...

The main reason they failed so bad is renaming 16 to 17 series, a very dumb marketing move.. if they just stick to 16 series .. probably can sell 50% more than current cui sales mainly due to bad sentiments..

Not bad time, this is a good time to launch new phone that's why everyone rushing earlier to promote new releases ..it's just bad marketing from Xiaomi's end to ruin their launch... sometimes need to play smart not just following old traditional ways..

Btw one fun fact ... Not sure if I missed this watching reviews and the launch event ... I can basically attach a magsafe powerbank to my xm 17 pro without the use of rings and magsafe cases.. it's like the magnet is strong enough to hold the powerbank... Like iphones and latest pixels.. not sure why this wasn't highlighted more by the reviewers.. it shud be a feature...
