Changting Network Technology misled job seekers with Singapore-based roles that were actually in a sanctioned Cambodian site, Koh Kong Resort.

Koh Kong Resort, linked to businessman Ly Yong Phat, is sanctioned by the US Treasury for "serious human rights abuse related to the treatment of trafficked workers".

The firm offered high salaries, but later changed terms, slashed pay, and pressured applicants for passport details.


I saw a comment in 1 of those scam threads. Talking abt luring ppl to Cambodia.

Means msm is slow in picking tis up
No leh i think they are fast in picking up the news probably from Reddit too, they did their investigation by acting as job applicants in September the whole month. They act as both foreign applicant and local applicant but the local applicant's application got rejected. :o

They need moar local sinkies to join this industry to make scamming calls moar convincable
