if people and corporations were held accountable regardless of the outcome (famine/recession/depression/drought/decreased quality of life)

people would think twice before crossing boundaries but instead, every decade on you see "limit-testing" things from corporations and people with the system failing to hold them accountable so they get bolder and craft even more outrageous lies and invent things they didn't do or say

in recent memory, the 2008 Lehman fallout springs to mind, the things that nestle did to ensure mothers buy their milk powder instead of breast feeding and the controversy over gmo seeds from monsanto

Honestly, not surprised lah. The Bible already said long ago this world will become like that — people loving self, money, and pleasure more than truth.

Like 2 Timothy 3:1–5 says: “In the last days, people will be lovers of themselves… lovers of money… proud… disobedient… without self-control… lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.”

That’s what we’re seeing today — leaders avoiding accountability, citizens losing hope, and everyone just drifting. The problem isn’t just “out there,” it’s inside all of us when we drift away from the truth.

At the end of the day, it’s your choice whether to keep drifting with the world, or turn back to the Truth that can set you free.
