Wahh free tourism money also they don't want ah
Because local Japs find their quiet, peaceful daily lives disrupted by noisy, rude tourists who crowd them out and disrespect local customs/traditions e.g. photographing geishas on their way to work, crowding certain spots to photograph Mt. Fuji, loutish behaviour on trains/inside temples/shrines/castles/theme parks.

Not every country is money-faced like SG/sinkies.

Whether sinkies behave badly or not is irrelevant to local Japs because you're grouped with all others as foreign tourists. Currently anti-foreigner sentiment is simmering in major Japan cities.
