the value is not suka suka one, like gold they follow a graph from 2-3 realiable sites and ppl around the world sell according to the value of that day.... 1 week maybe no diff but 1mth to 3mth may see spike increase 50% value to 300% or dip ...If u guys looked at the pictures, there r graded slabs as well. Those can easily find the value online but thing is..all these shia_te pple can put them any amt they want..whether got kum gong buyer or not is another thing..so how to justify the value?
this is the worldwide standard they use but of course buyers can buy at 85-90% of that 'market value'.
example for a very very exp card; ppl search/googlethe card number and name then see current value and then decide how much to value it to sell or buy (can see the graph but all are based on past deals done in recent months, more deals completed in ebay done get average value = more accurate. Too sudden high spike may means speculative and not very steady growth and can dip suddenly when new series come out or the character card got reprint etc)
valuation sites:

https://www.tcgplayer.com/product/2...dnX4lwxxgzq0vBws2wf6_ILgFVX9GmF_wdQlLKKAuY3NR
and ebay sold listings
these 3 + own experience is enough IMO to make sensible purchase.
*so these sites are how buyers and sellers know how much to buy/sell, sadly yes even sellers follow the values so sometimes is making losses cos the market/demand went down and card value dropped
