How does this scam work?

If sender manages to send out 1000 parcels daily and every parcel is COD $10-20. Just need 40% to fall for this trick and they earn few thousands daily. those who kena scammed will probably not report police or make a fuss because the $ too insignificant to go thru the hassles

How did the scammer get our address? From the Internet when we made purchases online? That means they know how to hack our account?

This type of small amount scam even if quantify, is likely those JHK scammers.

The courier companies never vet enough.

For SPX, you need to submit ACRA, business statements, etc.
Suppose okay you get pass this.

It doesn't mean that COD is automatically approved, COD can require mroe information or history then be enabled.

Those courier companies are currently undercutting each other.
SPX is damn aggressive and look like set to wipe the others out.

My usual courier keep spamming me with lousy offers after i've switched.
