I thought it is commonly referred to as 青花菜 here? I only know of 西兰花 when hearing Tiongs speak.
And I learnt the Chinese term for cauliflowers a lot later, only knowing it as 'ko leh cai huey' 高丽菜花 from my parents. Both sound similar anyway.
