Many sellers in Carousell are scam. I tried buying a used thermomix from a “expat” doing clearance sale to return back to own country and he asked for a deposit to be transferred though I requested to view the item first. He kept saying that many interested parties and FCFS etc but refused to entertain my request to view. I ghosted him

this is the same FB scam.

what i love about how scams work is that the victim usually ends up blaming themselves, and people around them also blame them.. lol maybe it's a way social engineering works. meanwhile scammers and their bosses and probably their govt as well laughing.
