Recently Youtube able to sense you using Brave browser, and will pop up message telling you that ad-blocker not allowed, then video went black

Comet browser also got ad blocker but seems like youtube have not yet target it. Since it is still a very niche browser that few people using

The added benefit is that Comet is a very good AI browser using Perplexity AI

YouTube premium more worth it than Netflix for me.

Netflix still can rotate if you wanna save money, eg sign up 1 month then stop 2 months.

But won't be bothered to save that $20-30.

Yes. The family plan is very worth it.

I see people waste so much time on ads and even using the pirated alternatives, saves me alot of my time as well to troubleshoot for my family.

Especially for my mom, it seems after a certain age, your mental state is definitely reduced. She will anyhow click ads which are often scams or linked to scams, it is worth it since this effectively keeps her away from most weird scams which are clicked by accident.

For my brother and sister-in-law, they no longer need to subscribe to spotify and waste time on ads as well. Even saved a spot for my niece when she gets old enough to have her own account.

For myself, it is more of removing the hassle of troubleshooting and getting that background play feature. I use Youtube for so many things, so as a heavy user, it is worth my money. (podcasts, documentaries, food reviews, tech reviews, cooking recipes and DIY repair instructions, etc etc)

So far okay, hope they don't increase the price for family plan too much.

I use it for English novels.

Been listening to classics from HG Wells and HP Lovecraft.

But truth is, no matter how many of us paying members there are to offset the ones who block ads (I used to be for many years), Google will never find it enough.

My mum was baited into a few programs because of YouTube advertisements so I got pissed and bought the premium.

I liked premium though, never looked back. Spotify is still better than Youtube music but it's good enough for me.
