Yes stay with parents they cook and wash clothes and stuff. If staying outside, you duplicate bills like rent, utilities, internet, home insurance, tax, furniture, home appliances, etc.

As long as you are independent, can travel, eat, watch movie, go out by yourself or sick no need to rely on parents i think is good enough. Also staying with parents and not owning a home under your name means you have the option to enter property investment.
