Tiagong many passengers want to riot liao as unable to board sampan with good seats.

MII ship captain reversed course. Maybe many unsold sampan tickets.

Sampan Ticket Price (one way): $9.59 (13 Nov)

SavePlus recently regained some steam. Hopefully, it can continue to be maintained; otherwise, the fund will dwindle drastically, as per the reduction in fund size last month.

I disagree. payout from the capital is as good as using my own money, not other investors money.
In a way yes, anyway our money is mixed with others money as well to form the NAV. Btw bro, at what NAV did you buy the Mari invest? I think 9.58 is slightly high.

Can we use the total vested sum (including the reinvested payout) divided by the number of units to get the breakeven?
yes, to separate the payout yield and order yield.
order avg unit price = total cost including reinvest / total units

whereas i prefer to view them together as investment yield.
investment yield = (mkt value - capital) / capital = 0.93% for 1.5 mths or 7.4% pa

I think as long as you break even in a couple of months you should be okay. As long as the NAV does not have a huge fall like in 2022 and stay consistent like 9.20-9.60 should be good for the next couple of years. Investment wise hard to say .

Another way you can mitigate this is when there is a huge fall buy even more.
