My current config is 2x16GB crucial pro 6000 cl 36. wanted to upgrade to 64gb kit. i saw 32kit 7200 cl34. it does not have to be 6000 cl30 right?

You can mix RAMs and then try to find the most stable speed and timings. However, Ryzen does not work well with 4 sticks, especially different ones. You might have to lower speed and loosen timings quite a bit to get things stable.

In any case, that G.Skill RAM is a waste of time. You can try placing an order, it will be cancelled a few minutes later. (I tried 4 times.)

the ram is specifically for AMD EXPO only, not even mention Intel XMP.

alternatively looking at 64gb ram but at lower speed 5600 with cl40. the performance different should be less that 5% compared to 6000 cl30 from what i understand. any concern if the preference is on higher capacity than faster speed? does it difference more than 5% assuming i understand it wrongly?

the os may said to be light..... but very soon u will feel the age of the "chromebook"
pay abit more get a under 1k laptop, u can watch LTT they also did a comparison a chromebook and a norm laptop..
i have really been there really dont waste ur time with this chromebook...
