Not sure about the rest, but Simba allows 4 Senior lines per NRIC while Eight allows only 2. Back at launch helped a friend collect 4 Senior SIM cards and I got to use 2. Think Singtel allows only 1 (prepaid), and only physical SIM...?

When Eight started 5G plans, many were asking why there's no 5G Senior plan.

Senior don't need speed, they reckon?
They may not need speed, but they definitely need more connectivity. We may have a case that the reduction of 4G towers can reduce connectivity for seniors.

In the event of a medical emergency (e.g. the senior falls down), the lack of mobile coverage can be fatal.

Thanks, but going back to Singtel 4G sounds too much of a suicide attempt to me. :s34:

very very smelly for sinktel to do this on a senior plan, hiding the "$12 thereafter" inside TnCs.
not even an asterisk mark on the $6/mth** to denote the change of price after 12mths.

disguising under the pretext of SG60 to help the Pioneer/Merdeka gen, that is a jackass profit-driven SG company for you.

Anyone encountered SingTel requires a deposit to subscribe to its mobile line? I tried online application but the system rejected it.

Then, chatted the with CSO & she said need to go shop to apply and make a deposit. I’ve been always using a credit card to auto deduct monthly subscription from all telcos, including, SingTel back in 2020.

I heard about it. Something to do with personal credit ratings.

Not sure about how cui. But didn’t owe banks money & credit card bills clear in full monthly. Only thing may affect is that I request $5k credit limit for some of the credit cards & spend about 80% limit on one of them.
