Yah, I am referring to the overall package including the router if any. 3gbps is already more than enough for 99.99% of the population.

Yes, the best to carry out cost comparison is probably total cost of ownership (TCO) calculation in 24 months.

3Gbps is indeed enough for 99.99% of the users. That is why I find it kind of ridiculous that M1 labled 3Gbps plan as "BASIC". Previously M1 labeled 1Gbps/2.5Gbps plan as "BASIC".

Starhub is worse. It says 3Gbps is "BEST BROADBAND FOR CASUAL HD STREAMING" and "Smooth 4K streaming for 1 – 2 users", which is more than "misleading" but totally wrong.

(BTW, StarHub real pricing is much cheaper if you know the offerings, lower than M1 anyway, please check out the sticky thread).

M1 fiber is stable? I am looking to switch for new home but in the past few days my M1 mobile service has been quite bad. Now worrying if the internet will see same issues if I shift over from Singtel fiber.

M1 broadband has been stable for me. Has only 1 or 2 downtimes for the past few years.

i just checked with Jurong point branch. this promotion is open to recontract and new sign up.

Nice. The posters in the shop is saying for new sign-up only. But I guess they figure out existing customers will not be happy if can not recontract at the same S$30.90 per month pricing.

Hi Guys,

I got two more months till the end of contract with a promo to renew 6gbps at 36.90 that is ending on 30 nov.

Anyone got better deal than this? Thinking, should I hold out for a better deal at the end of the contract?

Go physical shop sign new contract 10gbps for $30.xx. this was discussed in the posts earlier. M1 does not treasure existing customers.

Hi, I have the M1 contract until 12 Dec, and also have the same offer for the 6gbps for 36.90. Is it possible to just go down to M1 shop for the 10gbps offer at 30.xx? I thought that is for new customers only?

There is a report this page saying that you can also carry out recontract. The poster inside M1 Shop Jurng Point does only mention new sign-up.

that what i was told. anyway your M1 contract end date is good. if for watever reason you cant recontract, just sign new line and arrange installation to be on 12 Dec or 1 to 2 day before to have uninterrupt internet. that why some user here mentioned.
