Haha ~ ~ They will ask you to reset the network on the mobile!

I called last time due to the activation of the SIM card challenge.

M1 would reset my line on THEIR side.

Parent's Singtel line problem only resolved after they reset on their side.

Maxx told you to reset network on your mobile?

I checked his posts in this thread, and seems like he bought the plan from a physical retailer.

Mine is the online exclusive promo, so I am not sure if it can be done the same way.
By changing to a non-effective CC to stop auto-deduction should do the trick? Afterall, no plan purchase will revert to Base Plan. May be you can call to cancel auto-deduction too?

This kind of trick may impact your credit score if not careful. Prefer not to try this kind of trick unless unavoidable.

Don't think so for Prepaid, Simba, Maxx and Eight which are based on no payment, no service, that's all. Unless there are non-payment of minimum period subscription or special mobile no. minimum stay penalties of cos.

Bye-bye Maxx.

Port out Maxx S$10 5G Plan to CUniq S$9.9 4G plan to try out roaming in China with China Unicom network. It has pretty good 20 GB China data bundle.

Looks like the M1 Port-Out quota thingy is over as it seems to take only one day to port out from Maxx to CUniq.

Eight 4G S$8 plan -- China Mobile as roaming partner, free voice roaming, only 2GB China Data but maybe good enough for one week visit. Cheapest to keep as a secondary number.

SIMBA "5G" S$12 plan -- China Telecom as roaming partner, free voice roaming, 18 GB China roaming data. This may be the best choice among the four for China Roaming but probably the worst for local usage.

CUniq 4G S$9.9 plan -- China Unicom as roaming partner, 20 GB China Roaming, no free voice roaming.

Maxx 5G S$10 plan -- China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom as roaming partner, only 3GB China Data but maybe good enough for one week visit, no free voice roaming. This is probably the best among the four for local usage.

The ST one sibeh confusing. :ROFLMAO:

I would say SingTel Circle was not that confusing. I had it from 2013 to 2021 (Singtel Fibre broadband, Singtel TV and SingTel Combo 2 mobile lines).

The benefits were good initially (annual mobile phone upgrade without penalty) but got worse over the years. So I switched the two Combo 2 lines to SingTel SIM Only plan in 2020/2021. I also cancelled SingTel TV in Oct 2024.
