The few times I was there for grocery shopping, found the veggies wasn’t fresh.
Jaya grocer will survive there as there is probably demand from Uni students / Southampton university n the f&b
University students so rich can show in all these ATAs supermarket? When I was a student, I go wet market also can’t afford. Don’t talk about shopping in Atas market

Entered Johor Bahru at 7.30am and exiting now. Pleasantly surprised that there’s no school holiday jam. Entry was smooth, no queue except for less than 5 minutes entering BSI. Now exiting Woodlands and stuck for another 5 minutes.
All my atas friends all went/ going to Japan, China, Europe, US, Korea, Australia etc. only poor ppl like me go JB. Haha

See the My that work in sg, all buy jb landed and may be condo for rental income.
Sg doesn’t dare to buy jb landed.
Most importantly buy at high end development for safety like Horizon hills, Leisure Farm, East Ledang.
Eco Botanic piece is Atas but not the place.
It is built closely together in rows n rows without much lush greenery. It is mainly b by local

Avoid, all the development that starts with the name Nusa etc like Nusa Duta, Nusa Sentral, Nusa Idaman etc or at bukit Indah
These are cheap landed bought by local and aren’t double gated and guarded.

For small land at 30 x 60 is selling at Rm1.39 million is not cheap but look the rows of houses built so cheaply

Next trip you may wanna to try Teck Sing.
In particular, the dried cuttlefish cabbage (only my grandma would cook this dish). Bet your parents would love it.
Their butter gourd eggs is also their signature dish along with minced meat brinjal.
I stop eating their famous paper wrapped herbal chix cos it is tiny now and the chix didn’t seem fresh.
Their kou rou yam, pork ribs etc

This? Next to the BKT frequented by Singaporeans?

01:39 This strata title thing, is to similar to the PLS thing you guys discussed a couple of weeks back? How come pay RM1.4 million still need to apply for permit to renovate my own home?
03:30 I see the houses all no gates, cars just parked there, totally don’t look like the Johor Bahru I know. Makes me feel very uneasy, like anytime can get burglared.

My wife said the developer told her that the bungalows don’t have their own personal gate. The estate is gated with security guards. There are police patrols around the estates. Every month need to pay for all these services.

I was with some humanoid robot investors in China. Future just buy 2 of such robots and I think no one dare to come near your house. Robots don’t need angpow, no need take leave and they don’t run away from danger

I think this new policy will resolve the current problems to a great extent, though more details like the costs have not been announced.

Essentially,
A Singapore cross-border taxi will be able to pick you up from anywhere in Singapore and send you to anywhere in Malaysia (all the way to the Thai border?), but you will only be able to board a Singapore taxi at Larkin (more boarding points to be decided later) to return to anywhere in Singapore.

A Malaysian cross-border taxi will only be able to pick you up from Queen Street terminal in Singapore but can send you to anywhere in Malaysia. You will be able to board a Malaysian cross-border taxi anywhere in Malaysia and it will be able to send you to anywhere in Singapore.

Allowed to be Anywhere is a big loop hole for taxi to stay to take bookings after they finished their journey. This will disadvantage sg taxi with unfair competitions.
I bet jhk taxi will not stop at one booking given their records
So after so much ding dong, back to square ONE!
Wake up!
