I think nowadays majority of people are satisfied with just using an iPhone to take pictures..no need to carry the bulky camera around also

not really. i zoomed in to the equivalent of a 20x zoom on handphone for some fuji closeups, and shot some people on zip lines in action. depends on what u are taking. landscape mostly, handphone is enough......

Depends lah! I’m currently broke. If money no object, A7cii is my dream camera.

Mostly use Fujifilm or Sony A7
Rich tiongs use of hasselblad

there is a bug in this douyin fairytale ....... how that guy immediately produce photo out of camera without going through filter and manual editing

couple months back at Sentosa I sat behind ATB .... she took 12 minutes to edit her own iphone photo ...... i didn't know take so long

Yes. A good smartphone (not necessarily an iPhone) satisfies the photography needs of most folks.

Plus you get the added advantage of instant internet access to post your photos, waterproofing, powers of computational photography to enhance your photos with a few clicks and a super responsive touch screen.
Till this day, these "basic" features are still missing on most if not all DSLR and mirrorless cameras. How to ever compete?
