Henderson Land Development Chairman and Managing Director Martin Lee filed a lawsuit today (13th) against actress Chrissie Chau for defamation and harassment, alleging that she has spread false rumors. The statement said that Martin Lee does not know Chrissie Chau and has no relationship with her whatsoever.
The statement mentioned that in June 2025, during the promotion of her new film, Chrissie Chau was interviewed by a YouTube channel and discussed rumors that she was being kept by a sugar daddy. Her remarks once again sparked a large number of online discussions and videos fabricating a fictitious relationship between Martin Lee and Chrissie Chau
According to available information, Chrissie Chau appeared on the YouTube program "Women's Dialect" hosted by former TVB anchor Fong Kin-yee last June, where she addressed rumors of being "kept" and being pregnant. Chau thanked Fong Kin-yee for asking her the question, saying she had never been asked it before, and emphasized that she did not know the "man": "I really don't know him."
The video was taken down today, but was put back up again after about half an hour. HK01 also contacted Fong Kin-yee for comment, but had not received a reply by press time.
