Now that the parf is removed, there will be no incentive to scrap the car.
so i foresee ICE/Hybrid car owners will be renewing the COE of their cars after the COE expired << this will probably affect the choices of cars in future, as owners would want reliable model for uses beyond the 10 years.
but renewing COE will contradict the govt plan for all EV registration by 2030, and 100% clean energy vehicle by 2040.
so if the govt cannot penalize you for not scraping your ICE/hybrid car (since no more parf), i predict the govt will impose additional tax (penalty) for car owners to continuing to use ICE/Hybrid car in 2030s.
