I also worry about this. haven't use the previous voucher yet also. wonder if they will try any means to get you to buy their expensive products or sign packages. some of these companies are quite unscrupulous and unethical.

Hi everyone,

Think I'm a little late here, but I thought I'd post my experience at the event, I'm been lurking a long time now. Nice to see XenForo being used here like the old OnePlus forums.

Firstly, I would like to thank the team at HWZ/SPH and OPPO Singapore for hosting the event, it went very well.

I think it's good to host these preview events separate from the media, gives us time to try out the phone and share our thoughts with other like-minded people. And also not have salesmen staring down at us

The presentation was good, nice to know all the features of the phone before trying them out, Vijay and Winston did a good job

The demo units worked well, the teleconverter too, but the batteries were pretty low when I tested them, so I had to use my power bank to charge and use it, the Demo/Retail Mode probably being at fault or forgotten to charge.

The buffet was very good, I'd even call it excellent because of that laksa, it was delicious! Good choice on the caterer, whoever planned that needs a raise!

For thoughts on the phone, it's very impressive they managed to pack in these 4 cameras, especially the 3x and the 10x cameras, perhaps I'd be a little miffed about the ultrawide being the same as my X7U but I think overall it's a very good package. I think I should use Master Mode more when I get my unit, that's for sure, and I encourage OPPO to continue working on improving that mode. ColorOS is still excellent, and the global version with Circle to Search and Quick Share to iPhone helps a lot, I no longer need workarounds like MiCTS or O+ Connect for those.

The price jump is however, quite enormous for me. My Chinese unit Find X7 Ultra 512GB cost $925, and the global unit Find X9 Ultra is over $2,000 for the 1TB and Explorer Kit, but I am aware of the RAM and storage crisis and other components' R&D costs so I just accepted it as a long term device, and nobody knows whether things will get better or worse for the next generation Ultra. I trust that OPPO will have good after-sales services, unlike what I have experienced with Samsung in the past.

It was very nice to speak to Vijay and Winston during the event, both having served long tenures respectively.

And I appreciate the prizes being given out, despite not everyone getting something to bring home, I guess the budget went to catering instead Wished I signed up for theFind N6 event for the 100W SuperVOOC powerbank, but I simply had no interest in that phone.

I won an Aftershock gaming mouse and Ollie figurine from the prize draw, I wasn't sure what were the other two prizes other than the OPPO Watch X3, I think only @Dr.Vijay remembers...

I hold good memories from the event last Sunday, till we meet again...

I sent a PM to you with my codes. But perhaps you might catch a better deal if you're at Shopee (check the main Find X9 thread), unless you feel the need for the extra year warranty and lens warranty.

I'm impressed by X9 Ultra and the enco clip 2. Watch is not that outstanding though but good enough.

Did they do a comparison between Enco Clip 2 vs Huawei Free Clip 2.

I had both. Freeclip 2 advantage over clip 2 is the manual eq. For the comfort wise, clip 2 feel marginal better. Both are pretty on par, I would choose clip 2 over freeclip 2 due to I find the phone calls on clip 2 are slightly better than freeclip 2.
