Now price is $787 for 512gb
Intend to get it to replace my wife Samsung s21 ultra as it is no longer having security update support .

However I am thinking should I wait for the up coming Xiaomi 17 max ..almost identical in spec but more batt cap and better camera spec.

Don't think 17max will be global. 17t yes so prob receive in June? Honor magic 8 might be running out of updates soon? OnePlus I can't vouch for it's updates but it was very slow and inconsistent.

Unfortunately both magic 8 pro and one plus 15 have smaller screen size. My wife wanted a big screen size phone and F8 ultra is the consideration. S26 ultra 512gb is definitely more than 1.4k

F8 pro screen size less 6.6 inch ...my wife cant accept...or f8 ultra not worth to buy 512gb at $ 770. Any ideas how low the price it was before ?

It was 57+ lowest . But I bought at 671 for 512gb for the pro version. Ultra I think need add $200 more at least. With your wife requirements, prob 15t pro or 17t pro fits better. I ever had Xiaomi ultra ultra 512gb at 13++ offer before on shopee

Oneplus 15 screen size not small already. 6.78 vs 6.9 of POCO F8 ultra. Not really that big of a difference. It's more like what's your budget? F8 Ultra prices for 512gb since the lowest of what I have mentioned, have been fluctuating around 75x to 78x during sales. Currently you can get it at 75x if you have the special electronics voucher. But to be honest, if really need to get, just get. The price at most is that $50 difference. If you can wait, then can try to wait for 6.6 sale. But then no guarantee there will still have stock for 512gb though.

poco f8 ultra $75x the cheapest. the next lowest should be 6.6

samsung will sell cheaper before iphone release.

if big screen, can consider redmagic.

I guess u misunderstood
Me and wife always wanted a bigger screen size phone and not smaller than her current 6.8 inch s21 ultra ..that why 6.6 inch is considered not big enough for her.

OnePlus 15 screen size is the big screen size leh. 6.78in and 6.8in or even 6.9in not much difference one. They are of the same class of screen size.

I am using honor 400 pro which has a screen size 6.7 inch. When I holding a 6.9 inch phone such as Samsung ultra serie ..it is obvious larger and it is good for someone who has a lao hua yan like me..

Before that. I am using Huawei mate 20 x which has a screen size 7.2 inch. I super love it!

Now it is quite rare to get this size liao.

Comparing to mate 20x this is super small 😅. I do agree with others who comment that f8 ultra screen size is not much diff to oneplus 15. In fact when I compare the phone to vivo x300 pro, it's really not big by much. Nothing can compare with mate 20x if you ask me. But then the software is too outdated so no choice but move on.

This f8 ultra to me is value for money when buy during sales, I used oppo x9 pro for a short period and I can't get used to it, I keep getting eye strain and pass to my son as I don't like mediatek as well, not sure if it's compatibility issue with the app I'm using, some drama is abit choppy. On this phone, it's working fine so far.
