I have the i780, and i have migrate the agis navigation software to a new memory card. But apparaently the default 1GB memory card offers me 3 language navigation option. Please help me chk if your i780 agis navigation software offers 3 language ( English, Chinese, Malay ) for navigation when the GPS is logon.

Yes. 3 language options. English (default), Mandarin and Malay.

I'm a guy but I don't have problems with my long fingernails!

Seriously, I think that this is one of the best qwerty keypads about, and there shouldn't be any problem (or at least, it shouldn't be any worse than any other phone).

Tks a lot for ur info. Had tired and it is good. but unfortunately it can onli be open with WM outbox, if change phone, the sms also gone. haha..think freeware got it's limitation.

Can i ask other guys in the forum if they had tried this

True. Mouse pad and volume keys not locked, but your mouse pad will not be able to 'click' or activate any function.

is there any website to go and download games for this phone?

about the msn thingy not connecting to wifi, i tried something which it works for me.
switch on ur wifi and switch ur phone to flight mode (means no connection for phone)
try connecting to msn messenger. Close the messenger and switch flight mode off. Try login into msn again. It works for me!

p.s. this steps are done after following the thread in http://forum.xda-developers.com on changing the driver file using total commander.

currently, still unable to solve the internet access thru wifi even though wifi on and all other ISP deleted in connection settings. Any more ideas to share?

I'm also encountering the same problem of the phone trying to connect to GPRS even though I have wifi turned on so I've tried your method but it cannot work for me because after I switch on flight mode with wifi on and try to sign into msn, I get this error message saying "There's a connectivity problem. Make sure you're in an area with good reception and try again."

But I have no problems surfing the internet etc with wifi. Any idea how I can resolve this?

does anyone knows how to switch camera? sometimes when i on the camera, it uses the rear lens, some times its using the frt lens... i wana make it switch to the rear lens, but find no ways of doing so... rly wonder how it goes..

The volume keys change the camera from front to rear and vice versa.

I'm thinking of buying this phone when my contract expires next month.
There are several questions I hope you peeps can help answer. (Really cannot go thorugh 50 pages of threads.) lol.

1) How is the gps? Is it sensitive? User friendly? Am currently using the 6110 Navigator.
2) Are maps included? Have to pay? I was told that the map has only a year or 6 mths license. Have to pay to continue using Agis after that. True?
3) Heard also that many 3rd party software for the phone is not supported because of the screen resoulution. True?

4) Between this and the new iphone 3G which one better?

1. Seems quite ok in Singapore but sometimes takes a very long time to get my initial location and it seems like I need to soft reset my phone before it works again. I tried it in Malaysia and I had a lot of trouble getting it to start as it doesn't seem to detect my current GPS point. Does anyone else have this problem? Or has a better software to recommend? Or is it the problem with the phone?

could any kind soul send me his??
it should be named as FingerMouse, located in Windows folder. when you launch tis app from the windows folder, it should show you the settings of the optical mouse.

btw, you will need to enable show all files from the menu to reveal the file.

i bought i780 5 days ago, today it suddenly cannot go to the main page after powering on.

i bought this phone at a shop (max) in funan it mall 5 days ago, but yesterday it suddenly cannot go to the main page, meaning black sreen and no response whatsoever after powering on. have done the soft reset, problem still not resolved. send in for servicin today.
anyone has any idea what is going wrong with my phone?

You could trying turning on A-GPS. That should help you get a lock on much faster. My nokia Navigator takes bout 5 mins to get a lock on without A-GPS but is almost instantaeous with A-GPS turned on,
