beat my record! i spent 3 yrs, burned alot of weekends, switched between cdc (ubi) and ssdc(AMK), spent $5k sgd total, failed 2x auto, failed 4x manual, then passed manual on 7th try - 6 points. and i will never forget that red mazda who change lane behind me to try to cut into my lane if not for that then i would have near perfect 4 points only for the test lol. so never give up..for those who aim to pass

BBDC restest date is 22jan2009 freaking far away

SSDC is december , If I were to change to a Private instructor at SSDC and book TP there will it fall under sub attempt or 1st?

I was considering to enroll into school but after seeing the result i only got 2 pts in circuit , not really a point to enroll sch at all.. anyone has any recommandation?

i know this question has been asked again and again.
and i dont wana start a new thread.
so
anyways ~
going to start taking my license soon @ bbdc i guess
and
thinking if private/school is better.
i drove auto car before and can park parallel/vertical parking 100%, driving it on normal roads are okay also.
just not sure about manual.
length wise, which will make me get my license faster, i do not care about $ spent as long as i can get my license like.. really fast.

any news from iluv123 and stephanie?

Sorry to disappoint ppurplewave and chilli =(
I failed my TP with a HUGE amount of dermerits points =( 42 points. =(
I was ultra depressed yesterday till i didnt came online :(

I wasnt really nervous. But just seemed to do the wrong things.
My cicuirt went smoothly, with a perfect E break.S curve, crank course and directional change. Then come parallel parking.
I check all the mirriors and reverse into the parking slot. HOWEVER: =( For some weird reasons while reversing, i turn right instead of left, thus making me had to do additional steps to redo the parking.

Then i hit the pole. I remembered i only TOUCH the pole, but instructor INSISTS i moved and shifted the entire pole! :( 10 points + 2 points for that.
Vertical parking was not too smooth too, as i need additional steps again, cos i wasnt on the center white line, and if i didnt do so, i would have hit the pole again. so 2 points for that.

When i was on the road, i was already calmed down, since i knew that most likely i will have failed =( then i had to change lane due to a BIG truck immediately after turning left. While i was returning to my left lane, THIS STUPID IRRITATING TAXI tried to be funny, and speed up immedately behind me while i was changing my lane. So: change lane abruptly :s27:

FOr the another MAJOR 10 points was stopping on the pedestrain crossing with traffic light.
It was raining super heavily, and i was suppose to do a right turn. i didnt saw the green right arrow flashing already (really too heavy rain), so i proceeded slowly, and SUDDNELY turn red. so i had to stop on the pedestrain crossing.

Sorry for the long and detailed post =( till now i fill depress over it, wondering why i can even get so many points =(

Hey iluve123, i guess im as sad as you till now.

But dont be hasty in that decision to join school. IMagine you have to spend alot more. Usually 1.5 k plus school booking for normal practice requires 2-3 weeks in advance.

For me, im intending to 1- extend my BBDC membership. 2- renew PDL since it expires today. My ptv instructor said he would do all those for me, and will help me book the TP Slot.
=( ive disappointed alot of pple.

Also, i will have to spend more again to retake. PLus waiting time is EXTREMELYLONG

Should be faster and cheaper for you to take private if you already know how to drive... Don't have to take the fixed amount of lessons, can combine different topics into 1 lessons if you are a fast learner.

However, private will take longer to book TP...

Your traffic condition is bad cant really blame you and weather also bad. I circuit swee swee only 2 pts but outside 28!

My traffic condition is on my side.. in front empty I gan jiong in the end delay in moving off and speed too slow
Dont be sad bah.. and BBDC PI students now test date all the way drag to 22/01/09

I BBDC circuit swee swee go out all minus on failure to check blindspot , incorrect positioning , delay in moving off , change lane abruty......

school

not really alot more expensive than pvt.

if i get to choose again i will choose school

more organised and systemtic

TP date faster also

since you no problem with auto, then go learn manual
you never know when you will strike toto and can buy lambo then drive manual is songness!
