Circuit

Hi, i would like to ask if doing circuit in bbdc for manual. Do you drive around in half clutch speed or press the accelerator since the road is narrow.

Thanks

Hi,

I'm from bbdc also.

for circuit i will normally go as normal on the long and curve roads, half-clutch when doing those courses, like crank course, S course, both parkings.

you dont have to worry about the half-clutch technique because you will practice on it for more than you want when you're at stage 3.

BBDC circuit some of the left and right turns quite narrow

so when u r turning into these narrow left and right turns
either u release accelerator when in Gear 2 then turn
or before turning in
lower down to Gear 1 then turn

remember for S and Crank courses
always lower down to Gear 1
and in half clutch before u drive in
if speed is too slow
release the half clutch alittle
and the car will go faster

slope should be one of the easiest i suppose?
for slope, go up, put your right foot to the brake pedal, clutch in, pull handbrake. check mirrors/blindspots.
move right foot back to the acc pedal, find biting point (notice that the rpm will drop once biting point reached), put down handbrake. move off.
