Yuan Ji Fishball Noodle @ Tiong Bahru Market & FC. S$2 portion. There is a constant queue at this stall as the food here is nice and great value for money. The ingredients used are very fresh especially the liver. Cooked just right.

Yakader Muslim Food @ Tekka Centre. S$4 portion. This Chicken Briyani is even better than Allauddin's, the meat is not too soft/tender, just right for me. The rice is spicier also.

i tried this stall before. its better than the one with the long queue. best of all they give u REAL fork and spoon to eat. not asking u to struggle with the chicken using PLASTIC ones

Indeed, very weird using plastic fork to 'attack' the chicken.

Ellenborough Market Teochew Duck Rice @ Alexandra Village FC. S$3.50 portion. 4/6 score for Makansutra 2009. The duck meat is a bit more fatty than the other famous stalls, standard is comparable also. The duck liver is cooked just right, a must try item.

if 2 x $1.90 = $3.80 is cheaper then some lunch time proper meals but just as fill

there is a small thai rest. opposite the ice cream place (Tom's palatte) also not bad, lunch time many many ppl
