You just cut and paste without understanding the processes. Singaporeans do not qualify at all for AusAid.
Most applications through UAC is onshore. Most Singaporeans apply direct to the faculty offshore.

To qualify for the faculty merit scholarships, they need to be enrolled students !

Take a chill pill unless you work for Sydney uni. You talk alot but talk is cheap unless YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE GETTING 1 of those scholarships.

I seen the way you put other forumners down when they post their grades and ask for advice. And when I talk about my sister's experience and her grades to share with another forumner who is in the same situation, you squash both down as though you are the university admissions gatekeeper.

My credibility is that I have 1 of those scholarships before. That is why I commented. Other unis not my business. What the heck do you have from University of Sydney?

Friend after me in 2003 didn't receive the full fee paying amount but maybe it is dependent on faculty. You receive it in a commonwealth bank cheque in the ceremony.

The merit scholarships come in a form of a cert during our time as well. For show and tell to the employers.

You have to ask IDP or the selected university's scholarship/admissions office direct.

Australian universities do not give study loans to international students.


My scholarship was based on nomination by the faculty based on results. No application necessary.

For that scholarship in my time, it was based on my bachelor course results and ranking in the entire cohort (they used to base it on 1 semester results , now they made it 2). A levels/diploma results not considered at all even to the present.

You are not the only special one who settled in Australia . There is an ITE grad who settled in WA with a trade cert too. There are alot of singaporeans out here.
