Its always been said that SP and NP gets abit more piority but regarldess true or false, sooner or later all applications acceptance/rejection will be sent. Just wait and don't think about it too much. Nothing you do now is going to change whether you will be accepted or rejected so why not spent your time doing something else besides worrying?

lol its called affiliation ... coz both instituitions bears the name of the state, "Singapore" haha... just kidding ....

i thought earlier on got ppl say NTU got send out letters alrdy ?? how come now ppl say NTU so slow ..
For Engineering I heard?
They conduct interview for business also...

Poly got oct intake de ah. I thought its only 1 intake a yr

anyway yes there are 2 intakes in poly ... april intake for the local, oct intake is usually for the international students ... anyway a student is considered graduated even b4 the ceremony .. just that no transcript only .. however the student can get the sch to certify that he has completed the course ..

My time no such thing as 2nd intake leh. Maybe something new they started when they changed the admission dates cos my time poly was still Jul start sch de...

i heard from my lecturer that the poly is trying to make the term start date to be the same as JC ... so they will slowly make it earlier and earlier haha ... i think another 2 more yrs the term should be starting in march ..

I don't think so. It has been relatively stable at Apr for a number of years and currently they plan the schedule in such a way that public holidays like christmas, new year etc usually fall within the term break so that less lessons are interrupted.

when i applied, they didn't ask me for my o level results. there was no mention of it. is there a database where they can know our o level results?

u sure? coz they do have a section for u to fill up o lvl results ... unless u r A lvl holder ??

yep, i remembered they requested from me only the year i took my o levels, i have 1 year working experience thus i can submit my entire poly results.

my goodness, it can't be that my e application from differs from the rest....

I am pretty sure there is one section of for O lvl result .. coz a lot of my friends dunno how to fill in that part and they asked me abt it ... so i guess u overlooked ...
Anyway if u applied NTU, then i dunno abt it liao .. coz mine is only nus ..

i remember nus having it.. but not NTU's eform... they asked for the year though, is it because i indicated that i hold a merit then it dissapears? it can't be rite?

coz i am sure i checked like a million times my application form before clicking the submit button! oh god, i hope i have not missed anything....

Yup for mine NTU form only asked for year, didn't ask for the results.

Oh God have mercy on me. Thank you Sceneofsins!! For a moment, I thought i did not fully complete my application form there.

Relieved. Well, still waiting for the letter...

haha i think becuz ntu know ur will be sending the o lvl result slip anyway .. so they didnt bother to ask ... actually nus is more efficient .... the grades that have been stored in the database can be used for admission points calculation using their own softwares .. ntu probably have to do some manual work liao lol ...

oh... but i really hope NTU is not that backward... i mean there will be like thousands of applications flooding their office, i believe there are some means where they'll be able to get our o level results...
