Ms Sally Ng graduated from the University of Winnipeg Collegiate and the University of Manitoba. She has over 20 years of work experience with Sime Darby Systems, Kinderland Preschool and the Canadian Education Centre. She is presently the Manager of the Canadian Education Centre.
I believe she used to work at CEC and she is offering help in good faith

yah, CEC Singapore officially "close-shop" liao.
application to Canada Unis, you can do so directly from the Uni websites.
study permit application, go to CIC http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp
Im going to create a blog/website solely on Canada Education and Migration for my Singapore brothers! I know many are desperate for an alternative route out of Sin-ka-pore.
stay tune..
no matter where U go, look deep down and U still find XYZ country getting more **** up man.
issue is U are here for more than 20yrs.. go overseas U are new at things.
have met 2nd gen taiwanese Canadian looking to come USA end up returning to Taiwan, 2nd Indian OZ coming to States.
better than staying in sg...
sg is **** up
U never know... I knew 2-3ppl returning from USA..they all say USA **** up.
ppl in Canada wanna go USA.
all I say is don't go thinking grass is always greener on the other side.
U have no clue why Canada is better than SG. if u do, state specific example why its better.
mind U, this isn't EDMW, better have something to back u up.
i never think grass is always greener on the other side.
i dont know why u always assume so? lol

sg is **** up
didn't state your reasons and made the statement below kinda led me to think that way. any thing to back up the claims in red?
Anyone from Singapore after A Levels or Polytechnic Diploma interested/applying for tertiary education in Canada?
Apparently Canada education is cheaper than US, also have lower cost of living. (Now dunno still true cause Canadian dollar sometimes higher than US Dollar)
Canada have quite a few reputable Unis also, standard not bad comparable to US Unis...

seems like not much singaporeans went to canada to study
australia on the other hand , seems more popular
certainly! the admission req often times are higher for Poly students. 3.3 and U see yourself at UofMelb with 1 yr adv standing.. 3.3 and U wouldn't even make it to UBC-Sauder. on top of that they force ppl to do full 4 yrs not 3+1yr like Oz (for most programs). UK also not getting popular these days, U find all those UK edu fairs getting cancel left and right.
OZ gives lots of adv standing, not so with Canada. Thats the same deal with USA.
distance is another factor, OZ closer to home.
IDP does helps, staff are friendly and do hold your hands along the way.
those CEC staff... sign.. laoya.. expect U to be independent! thats why they close shop after a decade or so of operation. They just don't know how to work in favour of ppl mind.
