Diddnt know they will put so much lol.

Old airport road still lacks a stall that sells good carrot cake. Always craving for it but don't have.

Only the kway chap, prawn mee, lor mee, fish soup there not bad. Rest of the stalls are so-so only. Live quite near there so go there quite often.

You all should try the tau huay made by this hong kong man. Stall is opposite the famous kway chap/few stalls beside the ah kow bak chor mee.

My family loves the tau huay. The stall has lots of big orders. The almond flavour tau huay is often sold out. A little pricy though.

I like the Nam Sing hokkien mee, Mattar Road Seafood, the durian fritter (stall opposite Mattar Road Seafood), the YTF next to the mutton soup stall. Wanton mee not bad also.

Dong Ji Fried Kway Teow @ Old Airport Road FC. S$3 portion. It's fried like Penang char kway teow but slightly sweeter. Got extra ingredients like prawn and sotong also, normally not found in other local char kway teow stalls. Highly recommended for all CKT fans.

Nam sing is still ok for me, flavour is light though.

Wantan mee also not bad. But my school wantan mee and YTF are really cheap and good so I seldom eat wantan mee/YTF outside of school.=:p

Lau fu zi overrated imo. Think you avoid that one better and save your stomach for the other good food there haha.

Dian Xiao Er @ T3

tried Dian Xiao Er's $38++ 2-pax set meal for lunch today.

Dang Gui Roast Duck

Lotus Root Soup

Sweet & Sour Pork

Stir Fried Kai Lan with Salted Fish

Additional Order
Gu Fa Steamed Sliced Fish - $11.80++

must comment that their serving is quite big even for 2-pax. almost couldn't finish everything on the table. I would say their roast duck is a must-try!

the one I went was at Changi Airport T3, although Marina Square, Vivocity etc also have Dian Xiao Er.

It's called the Family Set, starting from S$38++ onwards :)

Wee Nam Kee Chicken Rice @ 275 Thomson Road. S$4 portion. They got 5/6 for Makansutra 2009 & was voted one of the best chicken rice stall in a recent ieatishootipost poll. The rice is very flavourful without beening too oily. The roasted chicken is not bad also. :)

i went here to eat during june

had white chicken and roast chicken (quarter chicken each)

i thought the white was so-so. sauce was great but texture was slightly off. not that it was bad, it's much better than a lot of places, but hard to label it number 1 in singapore.

roast was rather good on the other hand. very tender and the sauce accented the natural roast chicken flavour perfectly

IMO, I still find Boon Tong Kee the rice the most fragrant. Always find the outlet at east coast better than the one at balestier there...
