. Budget-wise <$250.den get palit/leadtek gtx460 768mb $210 at tradepac. shld be at least 40-50% faster den ur 9800my cpu q9450, using raptor hdd with 4gb ram. Don't think i wanna spent too much on this sudden death. Budget-wise <$250.

Got my Palit GTX460 from Tradepac at $210, using cash payment. Maybe can bargain even lower as I didn't try too hard.
palit gtx570 sp seems not badHi guys,
I'm considering between these 3 cards.
MSI 6870 twin frozr
MSI 6950 - (ref to be flashed to 6970)
Palit GTX570 sonic platinum (noisy?)
I'm just wondering about the temps of the MSI 6950. Would I be better off just going for the 6870TF and crossfiring like end of the year if I need additional juice?
Also is the palit's temperature comparable to the 6870TF? I heard it's noisy.

shld be 768mb verhow come so cheap fisrt? the pricelist like more expensive ?

Considering 6900s In CrossFire
But wait, there’s more. What about the Radeon HD 6900s in CrossFire? After all, AMD claims to have made some notable improvements to its scaling.
You’re only going to buy two high-end graphics cards if you’re running at the top resolutions with visual details maxed out. That’s where the 2 GB frame buffers featured on both 6900-series cards come in handy. In many cases, two $300 Radeon HD 6950s outperform a pair of $350 GeForce GTX 570s, saving you $100 total for better frame rates.
is the MSI ref 6950 alot hotter than the 6870TF?Rather u take PC HD 6950 single 1st then CF if GPU need ramp up

I'm quite concerned about the heat produced. My old MSI GTS8800 died on me when the fan died :S
