thanks for this great thread guys! i went to Boss to tailor my shirt. chatted with Dave, friendly guy and v helpful.

made 2 suits, 5 shirts and 1 pants for my madam. total 14650Bhat.

For those interested to go, the shop is located along sukhumvit road. near to Nana BTS station.

From the Skytrain station, can see the tailor shop before you exit.

After coming down from Skytrain, go to exit 1/2. turn right to go down to streets. once you come down and make a u-turn on the street, you can see a versace tailor at the corner, cross the small lane to go to Boss Avenue.

As you walk along Sukhumvit Road, can see it.

they should tailor anything. as to whether silk or cotton, that should be up to your choice. the material is you choose, they just sew it together for you.

if you wanna confirm, can try emailing them or call them. i know boss avenue and crown tailor got email.

if u doing in Narin, U sure the material u bringing is more superior than their?
anyway not sure how much the labour....
normally we do 80/20 cotton shirt as 100% one get crimpled easily

I'm asking as i already have Acorn super 120 sea island cotton fabric and
Kid mohair wool on hand for my shirt and pants. I rather bring my own fabric then risk the fact that Narin might not have a equivalent quality material in his shop, with the same pricing fabric in mind.

Some tailors take pride in the materials they carry. I am not sure whether they will take your fabric especially Narin is quite well known.

After reading this thread and the comments from many, decided to visit Crown Tailor this trip and Lop (Sam's staff, Sam and Mana are in Canada now) was kind enough to extend the operating hours to wait for me.

Lop had been paitent and attentive to my request and i decided to make 2 L/S shirts and a pants for THB4000.00 on wednesday night just to try out.

Went for fitting earlier and am very pleased with their worksmanship, just like many had mentioned. although slightly more pricy, but the quality is good.

Thus, decided to top up my order for another 2 L/S shirts and a pants...suming my total spending to THB8000.00.

Luckily will be meeting my friend, who will be arriving BKK in the evening, else will have not much cash left to spend the rest of the weekends! :D

No bro, go there they measure for u. Do note that u will probably need 1 or 2 fittings. So don't go too far from yr tailor or it can be a hassle to travel back for fitting.

My trip only 4d3n. Touchdown check in hotel 4.30pm liao then rush go tailor.
Next day 5.30pm 1st fit, 3rd day 4.30pm 2nd fit. Last day receive liao.

Price depends on wat u pick and where u go. I think crown adds extra for collars and stuff. Boss flat fee. Like wat bro condor says, boss gives all shirts flat felled seams. Really more comfortable. Boss price is B850 unless u pick their more pricy stuff which i think is B1000.

well, then i think you should try making 2 at crown and another 2 at boss.

that way, you will know which feels better to you.

i guess different tailors will also have different cloth material. so that may be a consideration too.
