idk about livewires before reshell as i bought them second hand. but if u want me to compare them to the tf10. I'd say that they are really netural. everything is neither here nor there.

up till now i haven't heard anything that i can criticise about it, but neither i've heard anything that makes me smile.

true, but budget quite tight hahaha, do you feel vacuum when u wearing your custom?
still not used to IEM, even when i wear tf10, i use it a bit loose

Yes and blocks most of the outside noise. In fact after using custom eartips, all other tips such as silicon, complys, olives and flanges are lousy in terms of isolation and the SQ with IEMs.

Just my 2 cents.

Blackwing and sandmoose from the phils are fantastic DIY'ers .
Amazing things they can do with their mods...

Most of their headphones are balanced even if its not..

But once u go towards customs u dun want to go back to the universal ear tips. That time when I wanted to buy a new set of IEMs and tried the westone 4, even with quad drivers it sounded flat and bass is weak, similar with another set of earsonics.

actually i always tell my customers, always have a universal for back up.
customs is nice but universals are good for convience..

a custom iem is not as portable and very leychey to take out and keep.
plus you need to ensure you dont put it at a wrong place later sit on it and it will crack.

Kinda late post but just went stereo to reshell my tf10 last week with hellpiggy. Just wanna ask some questions.

Will my stock cable fit westone flat sockets?
And i thought that reshelled iem will come with UM's cable?

On the lookout for cables now any recommendations please let me know =)

1)The stock cable will not fit into the westone socket. The socket is too big

2) They only do reshelled. Cable each sold seperately.

3) Affordable cable for now would be Westone ES2. Other alternatives can look at the IEM cable thread

Actually i did, emailed them and they said they send to their factory in china for reshelling so i guess i feel safer with UM. Pricing wise.. only 10dollars cheaper with groups of 3
