I seem to have opposite experience. Went to the show last weekend called at Expo called "Great electronics sale 2011".

I bought a Samsung UA55C7000 for $3499. The strange thing is at the show they said because it's last year's model, there is only 1 year warranty and no freebies. But when I got the receipt, it lists the exact model correctly and also says 3 years warranty by Samsung + 1 set of free 2pcs 3D glasses + Shrek 4 blu-ray pack!

The sales guy was trying very hard to make me get a 2011 6000 series model at the same price, but it didn't have 2D to 3D conversion which I wanted. When I was paying, another guy came to ask me why I prefer the old model and didn't want to new model.

Anyway with the purchase I got $1050 in vouchers which I redeemed and bought a Dell notebook and sold it for $1000. So in all a pretty good deal.

Fingers crossed that they will deliver the TV this weeked

So you got a 55" 3D TV for $2499. That's a really good deal! I was told about the 1yr warranty too for the older model during the fair. Should not have shorter warranty just because it is a older model.

Received my Samsung UA55C7000 today from Audio House. Delivery was smooth. As expected i do get 3year warranty and 3D glasses kit with Shrek 3D 4 movie pack and also a pleasent surprise of an addition pair of 3D glasses in the TV packaging.

So all in all a pretty good experience with Audio House

it is because ti whole event is not fully organize by Audio Hse...it is organize by press holding so they cant put in ti company name in advatisment

The "expo sale" at Suntec this weekend is actually a AH event, sans their logos outside... and many of the items are past generation models so caveat emptor...

Is Audio House any good?

hey. need some feedback on audio house. thinking of getting a new tv and their current ongoing promos look very good. currently they have a factory outlet tat has some really gd prices. im currently eyeing 2 lg sets.
one is a 42" full hd led tv going at 499 and the other is a 47" 3D full hd led smart tv going at 1199. just wanna know if i can trust their pricing and warranty and is it safe to buy from them or should i pay more and get it at a more reputable place.

IMO for $700 premium for a Smart TV : analyse what one is actually paying for loh. With far less you could slap up a HTPC that can perform DVR, Blu Ray playback and media/digital files duty so....

Drop down to AVS forums and this has solid HTPC/Speaker/TV subforums that has lots of valuable insight/wisdom for the novice or pros even ^^

Had a awful experience purchasing with Audio hse.. I bought a Samsung 32" LED TV from the electronics fair, a couple of weeks ago.

And the sales actually said that there will be a free mounting bracket. They say that we can call the hotline and arrange for installation.

So when I called, they just insisted that there's no such thing as free mounting bracket for 32" TVs. And they insist that its my fault that I hear wrongly or something..
They still have the cheek to say, if i reli wan to install the mounting bracket, i have to pay 30bucks for the bracket and the installation fee for 30bucks. So total 60bucks.
Its like WTH.. they just change their words after you make the purchase.
What kind of after sales service is this man!
Its like a trap for all those who do not know that normally they only provide bracket for 36" and above. (Of cos i only know that after this incident.)
I wondered if there is also other ppl that are fooled by them.

So, this is a gentle reminder for all ppl,
Please do check ur invoice after every purchase..
Make sure they do write down every single free gifts that they will give..
Make sure the salesman that serve you wrote down his name. (Note that the name printed on the invoice is just the manager's name not the one that serves u)
then at least you know who to arrow.

Seriously, after this incident, I will definitely not purchase anything from them anymore.

went there early this week. They were trying to sell me a Denon Home Theater for $899, where the recommended retail price is only $859!! I went there to look at something that was on great offer and they were telling me not to get it and get the Denon. Enough has been said about them.

Audio House reputation this bad?

I bought a TV recently at the suntec show and only when paying and got the receipt then found out who is the dealer, which is AH.

Got everything as indicated in receipt, so experience is good at least for me.

Meaning to say .. U buy 4k worth of stuff .. Guess a country . If after euro 2012 , that team is champ .. U get 2k AH voucher ..

put it in simple, the current price w/o the 50% rebate you must be satisfied.. after u strike consider as the rebate drop from the sky. for me i wouldnt count the chicken by the no of eggs..

Which deals are u referring to ? There were some past audio house duscussion thread which I found quite negative .

Personally I also dislike the way they advertise their price. U need to fulfill the condition like guess the winner of football matches or 4d number correctly then u can entitle the special price .
