Hmm i have ordered from this kinda seller b4 just not that sure about this tablet.

Aliexpress is the sister site of Tmall (sister of Taobao). Aliexpress new items are normally slower than Tmall, so if you can't find a Novo7A white in Taobao, it may not be an official Ainol product.

Do note it is not uncommon for different companies to sell the same tablet. These are normally OEMs. An example is try look at merimobiles videos for U9GT2. You'll notice that in the video, the tablet that claims to be from Cube doesn't have Cube logo on the back;)

So I'm just saying is don't take the risk till you are 100% sure what you are getting:D

If I c an ipad2 user sitting beside me, I'll "am chio" thinking: U play game, I play game. I oni pay less than one quarter of what u fork out. Some more I've more options of customizing my toy, and u can oni do what apple allows u to do. I'm the master of my Android toy, and u r the slave of your "fruit"... :s13:

I saw some white novo 7 on taobao i think.
Anyway i think the cheapest reliable seller on taobao is around 664rmb.
with shipping around 160sgd any better deals?

Do you guys reckon the price of this particular tablet will increase as the months pass by?

I feel like buying one of these tablets during late December - early January.

I dled Aldiko premium : ( But ned to pay to download the book i wan to read.

Actually there's a capacitive white back A10 tablet (Similar to Novo7A) and pandawill selling it at around S$170 shipped (with coupon code robin2011). It's the momo9 tablet :)

BUT!! the 1st batch of this tablet seems to have problem with the screen. Some back cover may be too thin, resulting to ripples appearing on screen just holding it.

Pandawill like merimobiles will check the tablet before they send out, so I assumed getting a lemon set chances is lesser.

Above are just my opinion, do consider it yourself :)

Roman is a tablet seller, the new batch he's refering to is his 3rd order with his China supplier I think. According to him, the demo set wifi he originally gotten was faulty. It was on 1.5.1 firmware.

On his 2nd order he found that the Novo7A wifi has improved. It was on 1.6T firmware. On his current order, he found that the Novo7A wifi has improved even more, firmware is 1.8UI.

I do believe the 1st/demo set he gotten maybe faulty. But as to my knowledge, Novo7A only on 2nd batch in China. So it could be a firmware improvement too:s12:

Simple make sure your tab is rooted.

Then get a program called root explorer.

Go to System>Apps>Build.Prop

Press and Hold and select Copy

Press the back key twice.

Go to either SDcard or Ext mount

Paste build.prop

Connect your tab to the computer and press Turn on USB

Download this http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v5.9.6.1.html

and Right Click and press "edit with Notepad ++"

Look for these lines

ro.product.model=DROID2 GLOBAL
ro.product.brand=verizon
ro.product.locale.language=en
ro.product.locale.region=SG

ro.build.description=cdma_droid2we-user 2.2 S273 2.4.29 ota-rel-keys,release-keys
ro.build.fingerprint=verizon/droid2we_vzw/cdma_droid2we/droid2we:2.2/S273/2.4.29:user/ota-rel-keys,release-keys

Change it as it is.

Save Build.prop

Go back to Root Explorer and Copy the newly editted build.prop back to the original location

When prompted to overwrite. Do so.

Go to Settings>Applications>Market and Clear cache

Restart Tablet.

Once you start back you will have a new system.

Check your market capability by searching gameloft games.

They Should be compatible now.

i know my wifi improve when i added txPower=30..though it coud drain faster on battery life
