its not #06-18, but i did stumble on the Eternal Asia unit somewhere else on the 6th floor but did not check unit number.

for Samsung HDD, the guys there told me yesterday that to RMA at SLS will need 2-3 weeks wait before collection. They advised me to go directly to UBI for immediate RMA and collection.

Regarding Acheiva RMA of Western Digital HDD

Hi,

I just want to check if the the Western Digital HDD warranty has already been expired when check at Western Digital website, can I just go to Acheiva and RMA the HDD? The HDD is brought at SLS and I think is 3+2 years warranty.

This procedure for RMA a Western Digital HDD is just go to Acheiva or need to create a RMA from their website?

I check their website but there is no page that can create a RMA.

Just to share the Seagate RMA process. There are too many outdated post which confused me a lot.. so here it goes.

1. RMA for Seagate is no more ACHEIVE.
2. RMA at Acecom is ONLY IF you purchase the HDD from them.
3. The actual RMA place is at Funan IT Mall Level #03-K1. But before that you need to do the RMA online at www.seagate.com/warranty.
This will check your warranty status and generate an order number when u RMA.
4. After 3, print out the order form and proceed to Funan to submit your HDD.

5. There is no need for you to return to funan to collect your HDD as Seagate will courier it to you.

For me, i am very happy. Send back the HDD on 19th and i got it back Today 11:30am, barely 4 days.

Not sure about that. But I guess those shops at Sim Lim/Funan will send the HDDs to Flextronics in the end so in turn you'll get a slower turnaround time.

I RMA wd last week. I walk in to the Changi address. No need any packaging if you walk in. Just create the RMA at wdc.com site, complete the RMA form then the Changi address and packaging instructions will appear. Follow the packaging instructions if you want to send in. You can also walk in to the address. For walk in, just give them the hard disk and RMA number. Thats all. They will send you a replacement disk after one or two weeks.

Take Note: Acheiva will no longer have 1 to 1 exchange policy for their WD HDDs for any length of warranty period due to the floods in Thailand till further notice.

They say will send your HDD back for repair, turn around time will be 3-4 weeks. They call you then go down collect.

I RMA mine a few days ago at Pasir Panjang Rd.

I am not sure if your address is valid. The address that I go to is somewhere in Changi North Way. I cannot remember the exact address, but the address will appear after you fill up the RMA form at wdc.com

The Chai Chee office is not longer valid for WD RMA.

Just sent my Seagate HDD for RMA.

Apart from Funan, during the online RMA registration you can also select to drop the HDD at
