No difference for different ranks.

Every brand sure got staff discounts for full time staff, say don't have also no one will believe.

But honestly, it is as good as buying from Europe after tax refund only, plus many restrictions.

Work hard and buy off the shelve even better, haha.

Plus when you work at a brand selling the stuffs that you used to 'like', after months and years of selling it, you wouldn't even feel like using it, it's normal.

I guess my guess was spot on regarding the discount structure for staff.
I agree with U Charles regarding selling the stuff U used to like. However, for my line of work, I like what i "sell" so I'm always sporting new stuff from my company.. Testing mah..

guys... i have sweaty palms and will the sweat damage the leather or canvas? i usually hold on to my wallet..
Sweaty palms huh... canvas.... easy to clean.. just wipe, since its PVC..
leather will absorb water, then will trap the dirt.. makes your wallet shiny, then sticky.. but..by that time.. get a new wallet.. hee hee

Didn't state clearly, retail sales only I feel. Selling the items to end user is totally different. Because you really need to get in contact with the items the whole day almost every day.

Corporate won't get that feeling. :)

I somehow knew that was coming. Saw that a mile away... Personally, I think appleguarde will help.. But, the problem is that the leather is in strips..apple guarde might not reach the inner layers, but, water might since the leather is not in 1 piece...water will get in the inner layers and that defeats the whole purpose of using apple guarde right?... that is the whole problem. Water resistance does not make the leather tougher, just better at repelling water.. Holy leather makes it easier to take in water... Logical?

Just a thought

Har har, hand sweat is not the issue.. picking up the wallet with wet hands could be. I think the issue here is in the weave. The leather is cut.. and weaved.. am I right? if I am, then this is the issue. the leather strip edges are raw. ( I know LV and other brands coat edges with a layer of wax to prevent water from entering the fibers. Just take a look at your belt.. see what I mean.
The raw edges to me, is the issue here. Water in hands, if not dried can get into the fibers this way and can make the fibers become loose and end up causing the leather to break.. On top of that, slipping the leather in and out of your pocket might cause more strains to the weave.. For hand bags that might not be an issue.. less strain.. But all this writing is based on my thinking and nothing to do with facts...since I do not know how BV treats their leather. Maybe U could just buy it in good faith and keep us updated on its condition from time to time.

its true less branded bags are carrying that design... but honestly anything popular in the fashion industry (perhaps applies across to multiple industries) will have imitations coming up in no time...
i personally have been deliberating over bv too, although I've eventually settled for something else classic and subtle, but when i look at the bv 1/2 of my friend uses, the black leather sorts of have a shine that is quite nice eh, but its just my opinion so...

i've a bias against lv epi wallets, wonder if any forummers share the same taste... because all the people i know so far went for the monogram, and damier canvas versions.
