OT to payment mode: For VQ, the mode of payment is only possible through GIRO? Can't do ibanking, etc?

We are trying to maintain our operations as streamline as possible. We would like to focus our energy on network engineering and customer service.

We are looking at adding credit card facilities in the future.

So I have to ask viewquest first and sounds like its 3 weeks once submit order. Then contact NTT to terminate on the days viewquest comes and install. However Opennet will sabo me from not activating my line? Cos I read viewquest is both OpCO and RSP hence there will be no nucleus connect that will pay me a visit.

We have been able to sustain a throughput of 80-90mbps on the wireless interface. For the wired interface we are able to sustain approximately 400mbps when the device is acting as a router.

This is the offer from Viewqwest. We don't cap the International bandwidth. So as long as the bandwidth is available you will be able to burst up to the subscribed amount.

To be fair this is always dependent on the site you are connecting to or the application you are running. However it is almost impossible to sustain that level of throughput in a single TCP session. One would have to run multiple TCP streams to saturate the link.

Hi Viewqwest,

When you state that your are able to sustain a throughput of 80-90Mbps on wireless interface. Are you testing it on a 100 Mbps plan or a 500 Mbps plan?

thanks.

That does not matter. The slowest link determines the speed. So regardless of 100, 200, 500 or 1000 mbps we have tested the wifi throughput to be in the 80-90 mbps range.

The lead time is currently about 3 weeks. Usually things go without incident. But we are all at the mercy of OpenNet.

I would buffer a couple of days of overlap.

u still got to time it to your last NTT billing date if u want to make full use of your NTT charges.

Hey VQ, how long do you take to process once I submit my application? Does the dates that I tick correspond to the actual week that I make my submission itself?

The lead times are currently about 3 weeks. We will contact you to confirm the installation dates.

Once OpenNet finishes their patching we will be able to get you connected.

Few questions. Anyone have comments about Viewqwest's performance on Playstation Network? Also curious about its wireles WEP performance, since i need them too also to watch video's on Wii's Nintendo channel. Nintendo DS is also limited to WEP use only. If their wireless performance is good, will sign and terminate current isp

In current days' WiFi technology, 802.11n WLAN will suffer significant performance degradation if run with WEP.

I believe there were articles about why it is so and to achieve performance of 802.11n, WPA and WPA2 is required.

I think D-Link stated in their WiFi routers' mgmt GUI.

Extracted from DIR-655 with firmware 1.35
Code:
To achieve better wireless performance use WPA2 Only security
mode (or in other words AES cipher).

The wireless performance is really a function of the router. The router supports both G and N standards. But if you want to use WEP then you would need to run in G mode.

To take advantage of the high speed, I would recommend that you use the zhone router in N modem with WPA2 and connect your existing wireless router as an AP to support your console machines.
