10,000 = $180
30,000 = 3 years x $180 = $540
:)

Having said that, DBS Altitude is still my number 1 favourite card because it gives the most miles per dollar on local spending. HSBC Visa Infinite only gives 1 mile per S$1 for local spending unless you hit $75,000 during the first year.

Found the list of cards ranked by most miles per dollar: The 'Best credit cards for KF miles accrual' master thread - FlyerTalk Forums

American Express Platinum Charge card is the best so far to earn miles (or the Centurion Card)

Here's an example:

$1.60 spent earns you 2 points. Platinum Partners earns you 10 Times + 10 Times (up to $16,000, after that normal 10 Times).

16 November HARVEY NORMAN - SUNTEC CITY SINGAPORE 1,687.00
Audio Visual Equipment
16 November HARVEY NORMAN - SUNTEC CITY SINGAPORE 1,999.00
Audio Visual Equipment

On my statement:

10X HARVEY NORMAN 18,424
10+10X PLATINUM 25,000
Double Points for Life 4,000
Total 47,424 Membership Reward Points

If you transfer the points to Krisflyer or Asiamiles with 1600 MYR to 1000 miles, you get approximately 30,000 miles. :s13:

Top it up with 4000 more miles from my other card (Citi Premiermiles), I can claim a Regional Business Class Ticket (Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta, etc).

40,000 miles - 6000 miles discount for online redemption = 34,000 miles required.

Business Class Award ticket is worth between SGD 1000 and 2000 depending on your destination and travel period.

Merely S$ 3700 spend will give you that.

HSBC Visa Infinite seems to be lacking that attraction in my honest opinion.

It sounds to be a very good deal!
Would you mind to elaborate more? I don't 100% understand how this wonderful rebate work:

Coz in my understanding:
- you spent 1687+1999 = $3686
- so you should get 3686/1.6*2 = 4607.5 basic points
- then.... what is the 1st "10 Times" and the 2nd "10 Times" Point bonus?
- and what is "Double Points for Life", why 10x Harvey Norman is 18424 but 10+10 is 25000?

Thank you so much for answering!

Airport Limousine Service

Reading the T&C of the card, it states that two guests of the cardholder can use the Airport Limousine Service with the Cardholder. That is, total of 3 persons.

Has anyone tried with more than 3 persons? What type of car will they be using?

Thanks Inix. Thanks Tycosiao.

Didn't get the upgrade with SPG. But good news with PC.

Hmmm HHonors and PC... now how do you choose between the two? =:p
How did you get the upgrade for PC? Just email them? Need to provide proof for the HHonors Gold status?

Btw, the link for HHonors upgrade is working now for those who yet to get upgraded:

I have done with with 1 (myself), 3, 4, 5 pax. The number of Pax is more about the size of the taxi. If you have not so much pax but alot of luggages, also let HSBC know in advance. They can send a maxi cab.

The points are for estimation only -- all in all I've earned around 48k MYR; equivalent to 30,000 Krisflyer miles as I've mentioned earlier.

Waiting for my big claim; I think bro "Inix" has over 400k miles if I'm not wrong. With the upcoming First Class "Saver" awards, you can claim about 6 trips First Class to Hong Kong or two first class trips to New York on B777-300ER (not suites).

By the way, has anyone spent 75k on their HSBC card already? :D

I just tried their butler service.

I requested for recommendation of fine dinning Nyonya restaurant.
They emailed me 3 choices in one day, and then confirm the booking for me.

I understand that it can be done on Google, but it really saves my time, I really appreciate it!
