I can't confirm a C6, but I know of someone who made it in without a interview with a B4, so that's what I'm aiming for.

Its certainly not a instant reject, but performing poorly for said test was fatal.

I was from Acc, applying to Acc, plus I had the Certificate of Merit which would have opened all doors in NTU anyway. O's wasn't the issue either. It was straight As.

If that is the case then I think you didn't meet their expectations in the math test. The issue about CoM, I think that at the end of the day there would be many CoM holders applying. Not forgetting that non-business related diploma holders are not restricted to only relevant courses but also the business courses. So being just a CoM holder doesn't really put you into an advantageous position, rather preventing you from falling behind against other competitors.

Competition for business courses from polytechnic is stiff. Really stiff. IMO, your decision to do A math is a correct one. Good luck!

guys i know im abit late but whats the fastest way to submit the supporting documents to NUS?

By mail or physically going there personally and pass it to the admissions office?

If at NUS where/whom should I pass it to?
Is there a doc-drop box or something that I can drop it into?

Cos they are closed on weekends and the deadline is 21st Feb (2 working days from now) =(

Go to their admission office on Monday if you can. If you're in NS, ask someone to help you.

Not able to help you because I didn't take A math in NS.

But one thing I must warn is that your gpa seems to be on the lower side. You might wanna work on pulling up your overall gpa. That seems to be one of the clearer risks you face with only a cumulative 3.8. Focus on your gpa first then think about A math. How the indicative grade profile would turn out one year later remains to be seen. I for one believe that it will continue to rise for poly grads.

Hi,
I have a gpa of 3.60 and was rejected by NTU last year because i applied for other courses. Going to apply for EEE in NTU this year. Currently serving NS and ORD next year. I also added non-academic achievements for my application with 2 appraisal forms. Anyone knows what are the chances of getting in? i feel that it's quite slim.

Those asking about the chances of getting their into their desired course can just refer to the respective school's IGP. Nobody can say for sure, so ya... that's the best reference you can get.

I would advise you to bring the documents down personally. My documents somehow got lost once. I'm not kidding you.

Already on a offer of ddp accountancy and business management from NTU. For me, I wasn't required to attend any interviews.

But I do have friends who went for the interview and essay session. Their experience was that the interviewers were not really going all out to test you technical stuff, more of to see your character as a whole and to understand your level of interest in the course of study you applied for. So my advice is to focus more of your preparation time on constructing replies on what attracts you to NTU and how you can fit and contribute to NTU.

Can I just ask what you received for O levels English?

Thanks!
