Thanks for the recommendation bro, i will consider but my card just brought not long ago thats why i am hesitating whether to really sell it for trade to 7870 cause wanna save some $$. By the way, is the pricing for i-7 and i-5 very big difference? cause i am actually considering getting i-7 processor instead as when ivy processors are out, i-5 would be quite far behind.

$130 more for Core i7. Difference depends on usage, but for gaming, difference is at minimum.

AnandTech - Bench - CPU

Really, sell it right now. HD 7870 coming next monday.

Need Windows?

New generation parts coming soon, dates are below. Your friend can wait?

And it is probably not possible to squeeze it a 128GB SSD unless you forego chassis USB 3.0. :o

yep need windows 7.
he plans to get soon since d3 coming out and his 4 yr old com giving him problems.
will the new generation parts be cheaper or cause the older generation parts to drop price in such a way that can squeeze into budget? lol sorry for being so hypothetical
pardon my ignorance but chassis USB 3.0 means wat?

New one will be slightly more expensive, current ones will just drop very slightly and stays there. The reason is simply because new platform supports USB 3.0 natively and thus most new motherboards will have USB 3.0 header to connect to the USB 3.0 blue ports on the chassis.
