The Uni courses that Kaplan is offering in Sg, the Uni is also offering to the world as a D/L degree. Since this is a D/L degree which they do not want to affect their reputation, therefore they have the different course name & module (You can found the different in their module name & code between the same module for on campus. Eg: Management).

The answer to this was answered to me when I queried. I accept their explanation and rational on this structure, definitely not what you have mentioned here, which is w.r.t its reputation. If you want to find out the real reason, you can check with Kaplan.

I do not needs to know as I will not be joining the courses offer by them expect maybe Master degree in future.

However you can share with other who are interested & it will be value added.

See if same name & standard.

Eg: NUS FT (BEng) vs NUS PT (BTech) = not affected cause different standard.

NTU FT & PT (BEng) = affected cause same standard.

That is the reason why now all part time Poly & ITE have different name being awarded.
