Bonus$aver - the only account that gives you the highest interest rate in town from SCB

For thise who already have the card, How long did it take for you to receive the bonusaver credit card?
1+ week for me already, I still haven't receive the card or see it reflected on the Internet banking...

I've set up and credited the amt more than a mth ago and still have yet to receive either the debit or credit card. Go figure how slow they are. I was unable to spend the required $500 for last mth and missed out on the bonus interest. Extremely pissed with stanchart

call up CSO and ask them adjust n compensate u lo.

Definitely not. I have a few other credit cards with them and all other banks. I didn't receive the debit card as well. Buzzed my RM for them until I gave up.

mine is exactly 1 week.

spend $500 every mth to be eligible for 1.88% for ur saving for the 1st 25k.
$500 * 12 = $6000
so let say at 25k * 1.88% = $470

xtrasaver 2% cashback of $470 is $23500 worth of spending.

depend individual fall under which category or maximise both acc.

I found the interest i received is much lower (< 1.88% / 12). Though I have spent more than $500 thru the Credit/Debit card last Month.

wonder why you ask for the debit card, if the CC come, it is linked to the saver account also, mean the debit & credit card all link to the saver account?

debit card come from the current account what. act as an atm card too? if not y is it a debit card.

SCB is super weird.

i signed up for 4 cards.

they approved 3 of the cc cards.. except this Bonus Saver world master card. LOL

i called them asking why, of cos they cant tell me the reason. so i rebut, why all others approved except this? all using same documents, same income, 3 can approve but 1 get decline?

ain't they sharing the same limit?

the officer couldn't answer me, only say can help me appeal.

if really still cann't be approved, i'll just cancel all my cards & account.
