Hi, anyone knows where to get the replacement nibs for the bamboo stylus? the nib shows signs of cracking. Usage about 1 month ++.

I gave up on those rubber ball tip stylus as the rubber will tear easily. Especially hard to draw/write on glossy SP.

Once I used JotPro, I'm never going back to those with rubber tips. The rubber tips create a very unnatural resistance feeling unlike JotPro which is so smooth and natural.

I have a different opinion actually. I've owned both the Wacom and the Jot Pro, and I find it a lot more comfortable to use the Wacom's rubber tip. The Jot Pro has a very unnatural heavy tapping / feel to it whenever it contacts the LCD surface of the iPad. It allows for more precision, but the un-dampened impact that occurs each time you lift and put down the pen makes for a rather jarring experience for me.

After a long search, finally managed to find the Bamboo Stylus; bought @$42/- from Funan, was told the replacement rubber nib would cost $29 for a pack of 3.
I simply love the Bamboo, when held in my hand, it's weight, its feel is beyond doubt the best that I've ever experienced. Writing on my new iPad w/o screen protector is surprisingly very smooth, the friction is just right for me. Yet the nib is not too soft, unlike those $20+ cheap stylus. No regret buying this stylus.

I agree that the plastic disc of the Jot Pro will create a plastic-hitting-plastic effect when tapping on the iPad screen. I realised that I was too used to using the rubber tip stylus where the impact will be cushioned. So basically just use less strength when using the Jot Pro. :D

IMHO the iPad is just not designed for stylus use. I've used an el cheapo stylus but I doubt using a more expensive stylus would eliminate the lag which comes from the capacitive touch screen. Having a built-in active digitizer would certainly change that.

So unless your usage requires lots of writing or precision detailing on the iPad screen, the initial wonder of using a stylus will die down. Right now people are looking at styli for one app. Draw Something! LOL

From what I gather the Samsung S-Pen on the Galaxy Note is the best stylus in terms of features and usability on the intended device.
